Arabidopsis Genome Tools

This site lets you view summary information and extract subsequences from the Arabidopsis genome. To start using the site:

  • Prepare a list of Arabidopsis gene identifiers (either Affymetrix identifiers from the ATH1-121501 chip or AGI identifiers). The list should have one gene identifier per line.
  • Click "Set list" on the navigation bar at the top right of the page. Here you can either paste your list into the text box or browse to a file containing the list. Click the submit button. When the list has been submitted it will be active until you submit a new one or close your web browser.
  • Click "Show genes" on the navigation bar to get a summary of the genes in your list with links to various other Arabidopsis resources.
  • Click "Sequences" to select which subsequences you want to extract (e.g. promoters, downstream region, 5' and 3' UTRs).

The expression map link lets you view chromosome-wide expression levels from some Arabidopsis gravity experiments as either raw values or log fold-change values.
