The Program in Statistical Genetics has been joined by a Program in Bioinformatics as part of a broad initiative in Genomic Sciences. This new program is concerned with the management and interpretation of genomic data. There are Bioinformatics graduate degree programs and a Bioinformatics Research Center.

Bioinformatics is part of the University program in Genomic Science. The program has a TEACHING function. This page describes the RESEARCH and OUTREACH functions.
