Accommodation
We recommend the following two options for lodging.
OPTION 1: Sheraton Raleigh Hotel
A block of rooms have been reserved for the conference at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel. Guests of the conference may reserve rooms at the discounted rate of $112 + Tax per night for single or double occupancy.
Also, there are a limited number of rooms available at the government rate of $80 + Tax per night for single and $105 + Tax per night for double occupancy, on a first-come, first-served basis.
For those guests who have their own vehicles, parking is available across the street from the hotel at a cost of $10.00 per day.
Reservations can be made at this site or by calling 1-800-325-3535. The group rate will be available until May 20, 2007, subject to availability.
Payment for lodging should be made directly to the hotel and is not part of the conference registration process. The hotel requires a minimum of 24 hours advance notice to cancel a reservation to avoid a penalty fee of one night's room rate.
OPTION 2: NCSU Wolf Village Apartments
As a cost-saving alternative, a block of apartment rooms with Executive Linen Package of $47.00 per night has been reserved at Wolf Village in North Carolina State University.
Shuttle bus services will be provided between Wolf Village and the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel (the conference hotel, less than 3 miles away).
For those guests who have their own vehicles, parking permits are available at a cost of $2.50 per day.
Reservations can be made through the symposium registration site. To guarantee a room in Wolf Village, the reservation and payment need to be made on or before May 18, 2007.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of Wolf Village reservations follows the registration cancellation policy. That is, if you must cancel your Wolf Village reservation, you may do so by contacting Aimee Hepler via email at aimee_hepler@ncsu.edu or by telephone at 919-513-2798 for a full refund prior to April 30, 2007. Cancellations received between April 30 and May 15, 2007 will receive an 80% refund. No refunds will be issued after May 15, 2007.
