Option 1:
Duke Chapel & Gardens tour plus Chinese dinner

The Duke Chapel is a 210-foot tower, with neo-Gothic architecture in English style. The Chapel houses 3 pipe organs. The most important one, the Flentrop Organ (Benjamin N. Duke Memorial Organ), rises above the entrance to the nave, spectacular in its height and design. It was designed and constructed to have the features of early 18th-century north European organs (from around the time of Johann Sebastian Bach), and it was installed in 1976. The Flentrop organ is used mainly for processionals, recessionals, hymns, and voluntaries at worship services and university events. It also is featured in a free series of Sunday-afternoon recitals by organists from around the world (http://www.chapel.duke.edu/home).

Sarah P. Duke Gardens, known as "Duke Gardens", often spoken of as the "Crown Jewel of Duke University," occupies 55 acres in the heart of the University's West Campus, adjacent to Duke University Medical Center. It is recognized as one of the premier public gardens in the United States, renowned both for landscape design and the quality of horticulture, each year attracting more than 300,000 visitors from all over the world (http://www.hr.duke.edu/dukegardens).

The Chinese Dinner will be at a local restaurant after the tour, please see the description below, under Option 2. The difference is that this group will have dinner later than the group in Option 2.
